Distant Healing of Surgical Wounds
An Exploratory Study
Distant healing intention (DHI) is one of the most common complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) healing modalities, but clinical trials to date have provided ambivalent support for its efficacy. To examine 2 potential variables – expectation and belief – we explored the effects of DHI on objective and psychosocial measures associated with surgical wounds in 72 women undergoing plastic surgery.

"Science of Noetic Experience" with Daryl Bem
In science generally, a phenomenon is not considered a reliable fact until it has been observed repeatedly by numerous independent researchers. One criticism of parapsychology is that it has not produced a repeatable psi effect. The "Ganzfeld experiment" and several other classes of psi experiments provide an independently repeatable demonstration of telepathy under rigorously controlled conditions.

"What's behind the Scientific and Spiritual Nature of Psi?" with Russell Targ
If you are interested in nonlocal consciousness, that part of us beyond space-time, called variously spiritual and psychic, you have probably heard of remote viewing. You know that what began as a laboratory protocol, created by a small group of scientists at Stanford Research Institute, has become part modern mental martial art, part awakening path, and part social movement.

"Integral Healing" with Lee Lipsenthal
Dr. Lee Lipsenthal discusses the new integral model of healing that is emerging, and how it represents the next step in health care, as it aims to incorporate all dimensions of healing, from physical to spiritual, and ecological to cosmological. He describes how this approach takes “mind-body medicine” to the next level, one that integrates spiritual dimensions fully into our understanding of how the body works in health and illness.
