The impulse to create
is natural to all living beings. Within the
stone is a jewel. Within the seed there is
a flower. Within the spirit of the human the
ability to create sacred art lies dormant
awaiting a courtship by the Muse.
In this weekend workshop participants will
find their sources of inspiration through
dream work, visualization, breath work and
movement.
We will enter into an intimate relationship
with the Muse and express ourselves through
writing, painting, story telling and ritual.
|
Participants
will learn how to:
- Create an altar to the Muse
- Identify and name their Muse
- Use a variety of tools and supplies
- Share their creative expression in small
groups
|
| Please
bring your imagination, comfortable
clothing, small instruments and your
favorite tools. |
|
This workshop is suitable for people of
varying ages and occupations, beginners
as well as seasoned artists. |
