About Robert Stek
Long interested in consciousness, I received my PhD under Duncan Blewett, a pioneering psychologist who worked with Abe Hoffer and Humphrey Osmond in treating chronic alcoholics with LSD back in the 1950's, and who wrote "Handbook for the Therapeutic Use of LSD-25, Individual and Group Procedures." Though retired I am currently a research associate at the U of AZ Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health and am involved with Gary Schwartz in afterlife research and other topics.
I am also an investitured member (as "the mysterious scientist") of the Baker Street Irregulars and an inveterate and unrepentant punster.
