About Kellia Ramares

I am a freelance journalist who spent nearly 11 and a half years at KPFA-FM in Berkeley, CA. Although I have mostly done audio work for radio and the Internet (see radio4all.net series Broadcaster At-Large for recent examples) I am going to do more writing from late 2010 forward and I want to branch out into video when I can get the equipment.

Although I am still available for freelance assignments, my main project is "The End of Money: a critique of paying, owing and working 'for a living' ", a Facebook page, a web site and eventually a book that asks the question, "Why must we pay to live on the planet we're born on?" I want to examine the theory and practice of a moneyless society as well as the changes in consciousness that will be required to achieve it. I invite IONS members to participate in the discussion.
