An Adult Children of Alcoholics three day retreat to increase, promote, and elevate . . . self-esteem, confidence, spontaneity, selfhood, initiative, connection, trust, and serenity.

Adult Children of Alcoholics is an anonymous Twelve Step, Twelve Tradition program of women and men who grew up in an alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional home. We meet with each other in a mutually respectful, safe environment and acknowledge our common experiences. We discover how childhood affected us in the past and influences us in the present. We take positive action. By practicing the Twelve Steps, focusing on The Solution, and accepting a loving Higher Power of our understanding, we find freedom from the past and a way to improve our lives today.

Enjoy three days of personal growth and development in a secluded setting 40 miles north of San Francisco in Sonoma County including ACA Twelve Step program workshops based on ACA Red and Yellow books. meditation, yoga. A retreat can accelerate and support recovery. It provides a focused opportunity to learn and strengthen practices which may lead to a shift in perception, changing our relationship with life and the world around us. Retreats are enriching, powerful, and fun.

Refreshment includes meals consisting of fresh organic delicious dishes, desserts, seasonal fruit, plus tea and coffee. Relaxation can consist of a labyrinth walk, a hike on one of the trails, browsing the bookstore, sunbathing or marinating in the brand new jacuzzi.
