Yuan Miao was raised largely by her Tibetan grandmother, Yeshe Tsuomu, a spiritual master whose father was a rinpoche in the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Miao imparts a universal wisdom which transcends religion and promotes Oneness. She does not consider herself to be a spiritual teacher but rather a “transmitter of joy.” She is a renowned mantric singer, author, painter, and the founder of the New Century Foundation. In Yuan Miao's first book, Dancing on Rooftops with Dragons: the Yoga of Joy, she describes her fascinating and transformative journey. She has also published a DVD: Yoga of Joy and Traditional Healing Mudras, and the CDs Love and Light Primordial.
