I'm not sure what you mean by conscious energy. I know when I had my NDE, everything seemed very connected in terms of how information was available to me. Sounds, smells, images and feeling were all mixed together. Information seemed very pure. It's like if you have all of this information available to you, so of course you would have sight because you can't separate sight from everything else.
Yes, I have met Dr. Ring several times when I was a member of IANDS. His research into the NDE's of those who have been light blind from birth is very compelling. How can someone who has never seen anything at all from birth suddenly see all that is going on around them during an NDE or OOBE? Well my guess is conscious energy. What do you say?
