Connection between intuition and telepathy

My interest in telepathy began in 2004 when I, almost by chance, agreed to take part in a controlled scientific experiment on telepathy. I was the only participant who left the trial with highly significant results and of course this had a big effect on me.

My personality profile suggests I'm a highly intuitive person, and there's no doubt that I am, in my mind. Intuition is my preferred method of engaging with the world around me.

But what is the link between intuition, which is widely acknowledged as a real trait, and the "parapsychology" of telepathy. Is there a real difference? If there is, where do the differences lie? I'd be very interested to hear responses.

Many thanks

I'm always skeptical of anyone that posts comments such as the last one referring to "Kybalion." This is a rather specific topic and yet the poster claims to know little about it. Curious.

"The Kybalion was first published in 1908 by the Yogi Publication Society and is now in the public domain, and can be found on the internet. The book purports to be based upon ancient Hermeticism, though many of its ideas are relatively modern concepts arising from the New Thought movement. The book early on makes the claim that it makes its appearance in one's life when the time is appropriate and includes variations of material found in the book of Proverbs."

Hi guys so I've ecperienced almost like mind reading its was so weird. And I have this crazy intuition and awareness. I just studied a bit of the kybalion and that theory is definitely what I'm feeling. And I have quite a few questions if anyone knows anything, thank yalll!

In the summer of 1975, my life in ruins, I took a vocational guidance test. I found that in comparison with others I was far above average in adventure. In that summer, an astrologer told me my chart fit those of the past known psychics in the world. The combination of not knowing my future, told I was highly adventurous, and psychic, had the effect of my becoming psychic. And more, I learned the power that lies within us to overcome. All of my dreams came true.

Our Creator gave us the means of governing ourselves. An authoritarian world reduces us to slaves of the powerful. Jesus, who the authorities crucified, advised us to look within for our answers. After the fact, I learned that Jesus was right.

    Many thanks for the links;
I am very familiar with Sheldrake, but he doesn't seem to deal with intuition much in his own work.
Will come back when I've done some more research!

Rupert Sheldrake, although there are many others, has done a fair amount of work on telepathy and has had statistically significant results which can be found on his website: http://www.sheldrake.org/homepage.html
His online experiments have posted results and these experiments are easy to carry out. He has school children doing them in their class room.
There are more scientist studying this everyday. It is a fascinating subject.
Intuition is common and people use it everyday to make important decisions. Here are some studies on intuition and decision making:

There are many more. Interesting subject.

    In statistical terms, p < 0.01.

I can't cite the results, except to say that the experiments were carried out as part of an undergrad research project at Harper Adams University College, Newport, UK in 2004/5. The project data is stored in the college library. I took no part in the data analysis, though I taught stats at Harper Adams as part of my teaching schedule for 10 years,

As a matter of record, my own research at Harper focused on various aspects of soil microbiology and its interface with plant growth.

    Re: "highly significant results"

Please define this term. Also, can you cite the study?
