Marcelo Montalvo

Marcelo Montalvo is a first-generation Chilean-American musician, an activist, and an educator. He received both his BA and MA in Comparative Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley. His research, activism, and art focuses on food justice, food sovereignty, healing justice, theories and praxis of decolonization, and spiritual activism. He is a board member and educator with Planting Justice in Oakland, California.
