Fostering connection through exploration, dialogue, and service is a hallmark of our community groups. Participating in a community group project or event often creates a deeper sense of purpose both for our members and for the groups as a whole.
Some examples of community group-inspired initiatives include:
- The Pathfinding project and Commons Café, in which people from diverse backgrounds come together to collaborate on envisioning and creating a positive future
- A project sponsored by the Vancouver, Canada community group in which books were collected and sent to create a library in West Africa
- A project in New York City in which art created by school students was displayed on public transit
