IONS President/CEO Marilyn Mandala Schlitz Transitioning to New Role

Selected in the summer of 2009 by the IONS Board to be President/CEO after more than a decade as IONS’ vice-president of research, Marilyn Mandala Schlitz will be leaving that post on June 30, the end of the Institute’s fiscal year. Dr. Schlitz helped re-focus the Institute on its original vision of frontier research, and notes that, “With the renewed emphasis on research and education, I feel I can best contribute by turning my focus and skill set from the administrative function of CEO to programs. I will collaborate with our remarkable research and education teams to develop new programs that will keep IONS on the cutting edge and establish financial sustainability.”

We look forward to announcing more about Dr. Schlitz' new leadership role with the Institute of Noetic Sciences very soon.

The recruitment process for a new CEO for the Institute has been coordinated by Bo Rinaldi and Associates, and more information about that will be available soon as well.
