How do I go into my online personal profile?
You can update your contact information, preferences, and payment records through your personal profile. To get to your personal profile make sure you are logged into the website and then simply click on your name at the upper left of the screen.

If I sign up or make a membership donation online will my “new” membership connect to my old record and be recognized as a renewal?
Yes, if you have been a member in the past, even though it may look like you are starting over by registering online your “new” membership will connect with your old record. IMPORTANT: The computer will recognize you by your email address, so it is important that when you sign up or donate on the website the first time that you use the email address at which you receive communications from IONS. If you want to update your email address, please first sign up with the email address we have on record for you and THEN update your email address in your personal profile.
What if I already set up my online profile, but the system doesn’t recognize me?
If you already set up your username and password on the new website (note: those on shiftinaction.com were not automatically transferred over), but are having difficulties logging in, you should check our Website FAQ and/or click the “Feedback” button to the right of the FAQ.
How do I update my credit card?
To update your credit card, go into your online personal profile and select “Gift Service Center” then “change billing to a new credit card.” Or you call us at 1-877-769-4667 or 1-707-775-3500. (The Gift Service Center is only available for members making automatic recurring donations.)
How do I change the amount of my monthly donation?
To change the amount of your monthly donation simply go into your online personal profile and select “Gift Service Center” then “Modify Gift Amount.” Or you can email membership@noetic.org and let us know, or call us at 1-877-769-4667 or 1-707-775-3500.
How do I cancel my ongoing monthly donation/membership?
To cancel your membership and discontinue your monthly donation, simply go into your online personal profile and select “Gift Service Center” then “Discontinue Gift Payments.” Or you can email membership@noetic.org and let us know (please include the word “cancel” in the subject line) or call us at 1-877-769-4667 or 1-707-775-3500.
How do I update my contact information?
To update your email address, physical address, phone number or name you can simply go into your online personal profile and select “Edit Your Profile.”
How do I change my IONS email list preferences?
To change your email list preferences you can go into your online personal profile and select “Edit Your Profile” then “open” next to “Email Preferences.” You can also make changes by clicking on “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email from us.
How do I change my password?
To change your password, simply go into your online personal profile and select “Change Your Password.”
How do I make a donation of any amount?
You can make an unrestricted donation of any amount. Click the “Make a donation online” link.
How do I get my membership thank-you gifts?

What happened to the Shift magazine?
Due to economic reasons we discontinued our beloved quarterly magazine, Shift: At the Frontiers of Consciousness, in June 2009. This was not a decision we took lightly, but due to the economy, a changing media landscape, and ecological considerations, we made the hard choice to adapt. In its place we created a hybrid model that we hope best serves most needs. Our print publication is now the semi-annual, 16-page The Noetic Post (which could, resources willing, grow in size and frequency). Hard copies are sent directly to supporting members; a pdf is posted on our website 60 days later. It is complimented online with an archive of monthly feature articles and blog postings in a section of the website we call Noetic Now.
Are all the benefits, including the publication, now online only?
Most of the benefits are now online, including our archive of featured articles/blogs in Noetic Now as well as in the online Library, but we still mail out our twice-yearly publication The Noetic Post to all our supporting members.
When should I expect my semi-annual Noetic Post?
The Noetic Post is typically mailed out to supporting members in late October and mid April, and should take a week or two to show up (maybe longer for international). If you sign up or renew after the Fall or Spring issue is sent out you should then receive your first copy of the latest edition within approximately 6 weeks. If you have not received your copy, you can either go to the Library archives to read it online (if available) or contact membership@noetic.org.
